Safari Itinerary & Locations:

Tarangire National Park: Known as the “home of elephants,” this park is famous for its massive baobab trees and large elephant herds. You will also have the chance to see zebras, buffalo, lions, and various antelope species like the oryx.
Serengeti National Park: A world-renowned wildlife haven where you can witness the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros). The safari includes a drive to the North Serengeti and a full day of game driving in the central part of the park, providing ample opportunity to see cheetahs, giraffes, and hyenas.
Ngorongoro Crater: This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a natural amphitheater teeming with a high concentration of wildlife. It is home to leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and various antelope species, offering a spectacular game-driving experience.

Arrival in Arusha & Safari Briefing

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our team will provide a comfortable transfer to your hotel. After a welcome meal, you will have a detailed safari briefing with your knowledgeable guide. This session ensures you are fully prepared for the adventure ahead, with a chance to ask questions and finalize any arrangements.

Day 2 :

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your safari adventure officially begins with a drive to Tarangire National Park. Known as the "home of giants," this park is famous for its vast herds of elephants and the towering baobab trees that dot the landscape. You'll spend the day on an extensive game drive, with opportunities to see not only elephants but also zebras, buffalo, lions, giraffes, and various antelopes like the oryx.

Day 3 :

Tarangire to North Serengeti

After an early breakfast, we begin the journey towards the legendary Serengeti National Park. The drive itself is a game-viewing opportunity as you traverse through different landscapes. Your destination is the North Serengeti, where our camp will be set up. You will have a chance to take an afternoon game drive, a perfect introduction to the endless plains and the abundant wildlife.

Full Day Game Drive in Central Serengeti

Today is dedicated to a full day of thrilling game driving in the heart of the Serengeti. The central Serengeti is a wildlife haven and a prime location for witnessing the dramatic interactions between predators and prey. Your expert guide will take you to the best spots to find the "Big Five" (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) as well as cheetahs, giraffes, and hyenas.

Day 5 :

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, we'll drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This is a journey that offers continuous game viewing. We will descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a natural caldera teeming with a high concentration of wildlife. The crater floor is home to leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and a huge variety of antelope species.

Day 6 :

Ngorongoro & Lake Manyara National Park

After an early breakfast, we'll spend a final morning game driving on the crater floor. We'll then ascend from the crater and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This beautiful park is famous for its tree-climbing lions and the vast flocks of flamingos that line the shores of the soda lake. You will have a chance to see buffalo, impala, giraffe, hippos, and a wide variety of monkeys.

Day 7 :

Departure Day

After breakfast, we will drive you back to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure. This marks the end of your incredible safari adventure with Excellent Kilimanjaro.
